The My Passion. My Community. My TEA. campaign is designed to empower educators to speak with pride about their love for their students, their communities, and their professional organization.

We know that

• Most educators teach in the communities where they were born and raised. No one is more committed to the success of Tennessee children than our great public-school educators.
• Tennessee public school educators go to work every day committed to educating every child who walks into their classroom. 
• There is a reason more than 90% of Tennessee families choose to send their children to their neighborhood public schools: they know the educators in that building are ready and willing to meet their child where they are and will provide a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in a diverse world.
• The Tennessee Education Association is a professional organization run by Tennessee educators. At the heart of everything TEA does is a commitment to ensuring all Tennessee students have access to great public education.
