The duties of the Instruction and Professional Development Commission are to:
- Engage in the planning process for the teacher track of the TEA Symposium for Teaching and Learning
- Review the TEA online portal program and suggest to the President ways to improve both the content and the experience for members
- Suggest content for future webinars
- Review the success of TEA’s teacher leadership/instructional training programs (e.g., TLO-TLN, TLI program) and suggest to the President follow-up engagement opportunities
- Review how TEA’s IPD program is facilitating professional growth opportunities for members
