The duties of the Instruction and Professional Development Commission are to:
- Review evaluations from the past TEA Symposium and engage in the planning process for the upcoming TEA Symposium
- Review the TEA online portal program and suggest to the President ways to improve both the content and the experience for members
- Suggest content for future webinars
- Review the success of TEA’s teacher leadership/instructional training programs (e.g., TLO-TLN, Hope Street fellowships, new TLI program) and suggest to the President follow-up engagement opportunities
- Review how TEA’s IPD program is facilitating professional growth opportunities for members
