The duties of the Instruction and Professional Development Commission are to:


  • Review evaluations from the past TEA Symposium and engage in the planning process for the upcoming TEA Symposium
  • Review the TEA online portal program and suggest to the President ways to improve both the content and the experience for members
  • Suggest content for future webinars
  • Review the success of TEA’s teacher leadership/instructional training programs (e.g., TLO-TLN, Hope Street fellowships, new TLI program) and suggest to the President follow-up engagement opportunities
  • Review how TEA’s IPD program is facilitating professional growth opportunities for members
