2026 TEA Emerging Leaders School
The Tennessee Education Association (TEA) will launch the 2026 Emerging Leaders School (ELS) cohort in conjunction with the 2026 TEA Summer Leadership Academy, to be held June 4-6, 2026, at the Embassy Suites Cool Springs in Nashville. Emerging Leaders School is a selective, year-long leadership and organizing program, with additional in-person and virtual engagement opportunities throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Emerging Leaders School is designed for TEA members who are ready to turn passion into action by strengthening their local associations through organizing, leadership development, and collective action. This program is not a single summer event, but a cohort-based experience that continues through the school year and emphasizes real-world application of skills.
