Educators Rising is your pre-professional organization for exploring and preparing for a career in education. As a member, you join a three-tier membership system—local, state, and national—that connects you to a growing network of future educators while providing opportunities to develop leadership skills and prepare for your future classroom.

Through Educators Rising, members have access to leadership development, conferences, competitive events, scholarships, service opportunities, networking, and professional learning. At the local level, students build leadership through their school chapter; at the state level, they connect and compete with future educators from across Tennessee; and at the national level, they can advance to national competitions, conferences, recognition, and leadership opportunities.

As you transition from high school into college or an educator preparation program, the Student Tennessee Education Association (STEA) provides the next step in your pre-professional journey. Together, Educators Rising and STEA create a connected pathway supporting aspiring educators from their first exploration of teaching through preparation for their own classroom.
