Join us in Memphis, Tenn., on March 27–28, 2026, for the Johnella H. Martin Ethnic Minority Affairs Conference. This year’s theme, Unity: The Family Reunion Experience, is designed to bring educators from across Tennessee together to explore and discuss educational issues and concerns unique to minority communities.

The conference will kick off on Friday with a family reunion–style dinner featuring classic games, delicious food, friendly competitions, and, of course, music. Saturday will continue with dynamic professional learning sessions and a keynote address you won’t want to miss.

Members who register before January 30th receive a discounted registration rate of $65. After January 30th, registration increases to $75 per member.

The deadline for hotel registration is February 25th. If hotel reservations are not completed by this date, all TEA discounted rooms will be released for sale to the general public.
